Little Nephew is back to school this week and so we are walking together again every morning. I've really missed our conversations. This is one we had this morning:
LN: Auntie Lucy, I know what DNA is now.
ME: What is it?
LN: It means there's a little part of you in me. Your weirdness.
ME: Oh.
The kid thinks I'm the weirdest person he's ever met, which is fine. Gotta keep 'em guessing.

not only does he know what dna is, he has apparently mapped the genome ahead of some of the government funded projects. go LN!
