My, my, my, what do we have here?

A veritable mountain of sock yarn. You are looking at 22 lbs of sock yarn waiting to be wound off and dyed! That’s 88 pairs of socks worth! The little cones are a new sock yarn I'm trying. It is a two-ply, fingering weight, superwash merino. We'll see how it works out.
I’ll be dyeing all this a week from Monday.
Let’s see it again!

Mmmmm, sock yarn!

you're gonna be dying from dyeing.... i have some of your pretty yarn that i have to knit with before i get more. i have some i had forgotten about, and some that i just haven't gotten to yet. remember when you overdyed laceweight? i have a giant skein of navy. and when i was worried about my boobs and you sent me beautiful blue multi? i stare at that and think it's so pretty that i can't come up with a worthy project. ah... hand dyed....

Lucy,
Your hand dyed sock yarn has made such an impression me that I cannot look at those spools without projecting GORGEOUS COLORS all around them.

88 socks worth, you GO Miss Lucy!!!
